SB20 Singapore SB20 Singapore

Singapore is a small city-island, located at the southernmost tip of the Malaysian peninsula. It’s just one degree north of the equator and the tropical conditions are perfect for sailing. The SB20 Class is the biggest one design fleet in the country with around 25 boats. Although the warm climate is perfect for sailing all year round, the best sailing season is from January to March when the predictable northeastern monsoon sets in.

What is it like to sail in Singapore?

The biggest class regatta – The Asian Grand Slam and Asia Pacific Championship have been arranged in the monsoon season in the past years, and the great success of these regattas has lead to designate ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in cooperation with Singapore Sailing Federation as host for the SB20 World Championship. The Singapore SB20 Association is very excited to welcome the best sailors in the world to compete on the warm, turquoise waters surrounding the island, as well as socialise at the fabulous facilities at the luxurous ONE°15 Marina.
