What is it like to sail in Ukraine?
With the home fleet getting stronger, this has reflected at an international level, with teams achieving 5th and 12th at the 2017 World Championships, meaning Ukraine had the third highest pair of finishers out of all the nations. At the 2017 Christmas regatta in Cascais, Portugal, it was a Ukrainian team who won the event which consisted of 30 boats from 5 nations. The ambition is to continue to grow the home fleets in Ukraine, supporting all 4 yacht clubs. The ultimate goal is to achieve a Ukrainian world champion.
